WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 4,892.55 crore on NSE

The Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 4,892.55 crore in 96 trades.

Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:

The 8.27 per cent government securities maturing in CG2020 traded value at Rs.960.00 crore at weighted yield the 7.80 per cent, the 364-days Treasury bills (issue No.291015) traded at Rs.500.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.08 per cent and the 364-days Treasury bills (issue No.26115) traded at Rs.500.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.06 per cent.

During the week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 16,018.20 crore and the total number of trades during the week was at 397.
 

The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 4,892.55 crore as on Mar 27, while the lowest volume amount Rs 2080.60 crore as on Mar 26.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 8.44 per cent, 7.80 per cent, 7.79 per cent and 7.83 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 8.26 per cent, it was 8.19 per cent for bills of 91-182 days tenure, and 8.04 per cent for bills of 183-365 days' tenure.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 13,673.95 crore, trading in Non Government securities was at Rs 2,344.25 crore, representing 85.37 per cent and 14.63 per cent of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release said.
