Wholesale debt market segment of the NSE today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 5,060.16 crore in 49 trades.

The 7.83 per cent government securities maturing in CG2018 traded value at Rs 1,230 crore at weighted yield of 3.89 per cent, the 6.35 per cent government securities maturing in CG2020 traded value at Rs 450 crore at weighted yield of 6.67 per cent and the 8.83 per cent government securities maturing in CG2041 traded at Rs 325 crore at weighted yield of 7.16 per cent.

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 17,859.93 crore and the total number of trades was 342.
The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 5,060.16 crore today, while the lowest was Rs 2,140.85 crore as on Oct 4.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years quoted at 5.43 per cent, 5.65 per cent, 6.83 per cent and 7.06 per cent, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 0-90 days, 91-182 days and 183-365 days were 6.40 per cent, 6.47 per cent and 6.45 per cent, respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was Rs 11,462.43 crore, representing 64.18 per cent of the total traded value.
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 6,397.50 crore, representing 35.82 per cent, an NSE release said.
