WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 5,424.50 cr on NSE

The Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 5,424.50 crore in 112 trades.

Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:

The 8.83 per cent government securities maturing in CG2023 traded at Rs 1660.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.55 per cent, the 7.17 per cent government securities maturing in CG2015 traded at Rs 400.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.10 per cent and the 8.12 per cent government securities maturing in CG2020 traded at Rs 395.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.54 per cent.

During the week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 23,140.02 crore and the total number of trades during the week was at 458.
 

The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 6,958.00 crore on June 09, while the lowest volume amount was Rs 2,021.50 crore as on June 10.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 8.12 per cent, 8.46 per cent, 8.56 per cent and 8.58 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 8.37 per cent, it was 8.57 per cent for bills of 91-182 days tenure, and 8.57 per cent for bills of 183-365 days' tenure.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 19,684.62 crore, trading in Non-Government securities was at Rs 3,455.40 crore, representing 85.07 per cent and 14.93 per cent of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release said.
