In the notice, the company claims that the makers have used 'Murphy', 'Murphy Radio' and 'Murphy Munna' in the title song as well as in the film without taking an NOC (no objection certificate) from them.

"It is true that we have received a notice from them. It's an honest approach and we will be responding to the legal notice. We are quite clear that we have done nothing wrong. The brand has been presented in a very positive light," Kapur told reporters here.

Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D'Cruz, the film hits theatres tomorrow.
