Weak conditions developed at the wholesale market today as most of pulses prices fell upto Rs 200 per quintal owing to slackened demand from retailers at prevailing levels.
Traders said besides subdued demand from retailers at current levels, adequate stocks position on increased supplies from producing areas put pressure on pulses prices.
In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,900-6,350 and Rs 6,900-7,100 per quintal respectively. Its dal best quality and dhoya were enquired lower by a similar margin to Rs 7,100-7,700 and Rs 7,500-7,900 per quintal.

Moong and its dal chilka local moved down by Rs 100 each to Rs 7,200-7,900 and Rs 8,000-8,500 per quintal. Its dal dhoya local and best quality traded lower by the same margin to Rs 8,000-8,300 and Rs 8,800-8,900 per quintal.
Masoor small and bold declined by Rs 200 each to Rs 5,250-5,500 and Rs 5,300-5,550 per quintal respectively.
Its dal local and best quality lost Rs 200 each at Rs 6,200-6,300 and Rs 6,300-6,400 per quintal.
Malka local and best quality followed suit and trading in negative zone with a loss of Rs 200 each to Rs 6,600-6,900 and Rs 6,800-6,900 per quintal respectively.
In line with a general weak trend, gram, gramdal local and best quality were down by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,500-4,300, Rs 3,950-4,150 and Rs 4,050-4,350 per quintal respectively.
Kabli gram small variety eased by Rs 100 to Rs 4,000-6,300 per quintal. Arhar and its dal dara variety shed Rs 50 and Rs 100 at Rs 5,750-5,800 and Rs 7,100-7,400 per quintal respectively.
