Weak conditions prevailed on the wholesale grains market today as wheat and a few other grains ended lower due to reduced offtake against increased supplies from producing regions.
Traders said besides reduced offtake, increased supplies from producing regions mainly kept pressure on wheat and a few other grains.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills)declined by Rs 5 to Rs 1,535-1,540 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded lower by the same margin to Rs 1,545-1,550 per 90 kg.
