Bihar today witnessed a hot and dry weather, with Gaya being the hottest place in the state at 43.9 degrees Celsius, four notches above normal.
The state capital Patna registered 39 degrees Celsius against the yesterday's 41.0 degrees Celsius, according to Patna Meteorological Centre.
Bhagalpur and Purnea recorded 36.5 and 31.4 degrees Celsius respectively, the MeT bulletin said.
Patna and Gaya will witness mainly clear sky tomorrow while partly cloudy sky, with possibility of rainfall and thundershower, is expected in Bhagalpur and Purnea, the met forecast said.
