Weather remained dry in Bihar today with Gaya being the hottest place in the state at 42.4 degree Celsius, which is two degree above normal.
Patna registered 41.2 degree C against yesterday's 40.4 degree Celsius, a Met bulletin said.
Bhagalpur and Purnea recorded 42 and 37.7 degree C respectively.
Bhagalpur recorded 5 degree above normal while Purnea witnessed 3 degree above normal maximum temperature, the bulletin said.
Met department forecast mainly clear sky for Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea tomorrow.
