Weather remains dry over HP

Weather remained dry in most parts of Himachal Pradesh, MeT department official said today.

Rains will occur in parts of the state tomorrow while dry weather will prevail in the region over next four days, officials said.

The withdrawal line of south-west monsoon continues to pass through Anupgarh, Bikaner and Jaisalmer. The conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of monsoon from some more parts of north-west India over the next 48 hours, they added

Light rains occurred at some places in the state.

Kangra recieved 13mm rainfall, Dharamsala 10mm, Bharmaur 5 mm and Palampur, Ghamroor and Bangana 2mm each.

Una was the hottest at 32.0 degree Celsius. Bhuntar recorded 31.2, Sundernagar 29.3, Solan 27.4, Nahan 27.2, Dharamshala 26.8, Manali 23.6, Shimla 23.2 and Kalpa 22.
 

There was marginal fluctuation in minimum temperatures. Keylong and Kalpa in Lahaul district recorded 7.5 degree Celsius while temperatures at Spiti and Kinnaur districts were at 8.6 degree Celsius.

Manali 12.2, Shimla 13.6, Dharamsala 15.5, Palampur and Solan 16.0 each, Bhuntar 16.5, Nahan and Sundernagar 18.5 each and Una 22.8.
