Weather turns pleasant as rains drench Delhi

A hot and humid day gave way to a rainy and pleasant evening in the national capital today and brought the much needed respite for the Delhiites from sultry weather conditions.

The city received a total of 14.8 mm of rainfall, which drenched most parts of the city, between 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 35.5 Degrees Celsius, which was a notch above the normal, while the minimum was recorded at 26.2 deg C, a point below normal.

The humidity level hovered between 62 and 92 per cent.

For the Delhiites, who were reeling under hot and humid conditions, rain brought cheers on their faces as overcast skies and cool winds made the weather pleasant.
 

Met department has predicted a cloudy sky tomorrow with the possibility of rains and thundershowers.

Today being a Saturday and most of the offices closed, there was no problem of traffic jams. However, there were some reports of water-logging but the traffic was not affected.
