With the mercury rising today people in Patna and other parts of Bihar experienced a pleasant winter day.
Patna registered a minimum temperature of 8.5 degrees Celsius as compared to 5.7 degrees Celsius yesterday, state MeT office said.
Maximum temperature was recorded at 24.2 degrees Celsius in the state capital.

In the temple town of Gaya the minimum temperature was 7.3 degrees Celsius while maximum temperature was 24.8 degrees Celsius.
Elsewhere, in Bhagalpur the minimum temperature was 9.7 degrees Celsius and the maximum was 24.1 degrees Celsius. In Purnea it was 7.8 degrees Celsius and 24.3 degrees Celsius respectively.
The state weather office forecast that minimum temperature would rise to around 9 degrees Celsius tomorrow and the sky would be mainly clear.
