She said Radio Kashmir Jammu has always played a vital role in preservation and proliferation of Dogri and other local languages and with the launch of their website they will come more close to the people of the state.

The first ever broadcasting centre of the state -- Radio Kashmir Jammu -- came into existence on December 1, 1947.
