The Delhi Assembly will soon constitute a committee on welfare of students and youths in order to address their grievances and issues inside the House.
The General Purposes Committee of the Assembly, headed by Speaker Ram Niwas Goel, has given its in-principle approval to a proposal to constitute the committee, an official said on Tuesday.
The move comes after some Delhi MLAs including Rajesh Gupta, Som Dutt and Ajesh Yadav recently approached the Speaker to constitute a committee to look into grievances and issues related to the students and youth in the Assembly.
