A western disturbance has triggered rain in several areas of Rajasthan where Ganganagar recorded the maximum rainfall of 15.8 mm, the Meteorological department here said on Friday.
In the same period, that is since Thursday till Friday morning, Pilani, Sawaimadhopur and Jaipur recorded 12.2 mm, 10 mm and 9.8 mm rain, respectively, while Churu and Bikaner recorded a rainfall of 8.4 mm, the MeT department said.
The rainfall was below 7 mm in several other areas, it said.
Nagaur and nearby areas also received hailstorm on Thursday.
Meanwhile, night temperature in the state hovered above 8 degrees Celsius. Sikar recorded the lowest temperature in the state at 8 degrees Celsius.
The department has predicted light rains at a few areas for Friday and the state is likely to witness a thick fog on Saturday and Sunday.
