In the wake of surgical strikes by the Army across Line of Control (LoC), the Western Naval Command (WNC) today cancelled two major activities which were scheduled between October 1 to 3 as part of the 'Navy Week'.
WNC has cancelled 'Ships Open to Visitors', which was scheduled on October 1 and 2, and 'Day at Sea' on October 3 for NCC cadets and Sainik School students, it said in a statement here.
The Navy undertakes several activities as a part of celebration of Navy Week from October 3 to December 4 every year.
