A TV series adaptation of 'Wet Hot American Summer' is on the way at Netflix.
The original cast of the David Wain-directed 2001 cult film are expected to reunite for an eight-episode series, with filming starting this week, reported Deadline.
Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd, Christopher Meloni, Elizabeth Banks, Janeane Garofalo, Ken Marino, Zak Orth, David Hyde Pierce and Joe Lo Truglio will all star.

'Wet Hot American Summer' co-writer Michael Showalter confirmed that talks were underway to spin off the movie into "a Netflix series" last summer.
Rudd, Banks and Poehler had all publicly supported a sequel or prequel for 'Wet Hot American Summer' in recent years.
Poehler and Rudd have more recently collaborated with Wain and Showalter on the romantic comedy 'They Came Together'.
