Wheat and basmati rice prices rose up to Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today on scattered buying by flour mills and stockists.
However, bajra eased on reduced industrial offtake.
Traders said scattered buying from flour mills and stockists led to the rise in wheat and basmati rice prices.

In the rice section, Pusa 1121 variety also rose by Rs 100 to Rs 6,400-7,100 per quintal.
On the other hand, bajra eased to Rs 1,100-1,105 against last close of Rs 1,125-1,130 per quintal.
