Wheat prices fell by Rs 20 per quintal at the wholesale market today due to reduced offtake by flour mills against adequate supplies.
However, bajra, jowar and maize ended higher on increased offtake by consuming industries.
Traders said fall in demand from flour mills against increased arrivals from producing belts mainly kept pressure on wheat prices.

On the other hand, bajra, jowar yellow, white and maize ended higher at Rs 1,220-1,225,Rs 1,470-1,500, Rs 2,500-2,600 and Rs 1,405-1,410 as compared to previous levels of Rs 1,165-1,175,Rs 1,400-1,425, Rs 2,400-2,525 and Rs 1,350-1,355 per quintal respectively on increased offtake by consuming industries.
