Wheat prices eased by Rs 5 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale grains market today following increased supplies from producing regions against reduced offtake by flour mills.
Elsewhere, other grains including rice basmati traded in a tight range on little doing and settled around previous levels.
Traders said besides reduced offtake by flour mills, adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing belts kept pressure on wheat prices.
