Press Trust of India New Delhi
Wheat prices eased by 0.12 per cent to Rs 1,671 per quintal in futures trading today as speculators reduced their holdings amid sufficient stocks at the spot market on increased supplies.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, wheat for delivery in January was trading lower by Rs 2, or 0.12 per cent to Rs 1,671 per quintal with an open interest of 8,570 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by traders, driven by adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from producing belts at the physical market against low demand, mainly influenced wheat prices at futures trade.
