Wheat prices inched up by Rs 5 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale grains market today due to increased offtake by flour mills.
However, other grains including rice basmati continued to trade in a tight range on little doing and settled at last levels.
Traders said increased offtake by flour mills helped wheat prices to rise.
