Wheat prices fell further by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today on adequate stocks position against reduced offtake by flour mills.
However, maize edged up on scattered demand.
Traders said ample stocks position on increased supplies against reduced offtake by flour mills mainly kept wheat prices lower.

Atta flour mills also eased by Rs 20 at Rs 1,140-1,150 per 50 kg.
Maida and sooji too ended lower at Rs 1,200-1,210 and Rs 1,270-1,275 from previous levels of Rs 1,250-1,260 and Rs 1,290-1,300 per 50 kg in line with wheat trend.
On the other hand, maize traded higher by Rs 20 to Rs 1,600-1,610 per quintal.
