Press Trust of India New Delhi
Wheat prices edged lower by Rs 5 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale grains market today due to reduced offtake by flour mills against increased supplies from producing areas.

However, other grains held steady in thin trade.

Traders said reduced offtake by flour mills against increased supplies from producing regions mainly kept pressure on wheat prices.

In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) shed Rs 5 at Rs 1,655-1,660 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 1,670-1,675 per 90 kg.
