WheelsEMI aims to disburse Rs 1,000 cr loan in 3 years

WheelsEMI, an organised player focused on the pre-owned two-wheeler finance segment, is looking at disbursement of loan amounting to Rs 1,000 crore over three year's time.

The company offers loans up to 80 per cent of the value of the pre-owned two-wheeler, with a repayment period of 12 to 24 months. This finance facility is currently available at select pre-owned two wheeler-dealers in Pune.

"We will be focusing on Pune and Nagpur initially and will then target Bengaluru and Chennai markets," Phaneedra Kumar, president, WheelsEMI said in a statement.

"We plan to launch 70 branches across the country in three years and aim to disburse loans of Rs 1,000 crore in the third year with an average ticket size of Rs 35,000," he said. -------------------------------------
 

SBI, Cox & Kings partners for travel prepaid cards sale

State Bank of India today announced pilot launch of a distribution alliance with Cox & Kings for sale of travel prepaid cards in the country.

This partnership will help marketing of travel prepaid card available in eight currencies and will currently target the corporate customers of the bank.

"This has been the third alliance SBI has entered into for travel card business to supplement their distribution reach which is already very deep in the consumer segment," SBI's DMD (digital banking and new business) Manju Agarwal said.

Non-banking finance company Fullerton India today said it has received an additional capital of Rs 200 crore from its parent Fullerton Financial Holdings Pte.

The capital infusion will primarily support future business growth of Fullerton India's housing finance arm - Grihashakti.

Subscription-led video entertainment app nexGTv today said it has acquired from BBC World Service India the global broadcast rights of over 170 videos produced by BBC Hindi and BBC Tamil.

"nexGTv is fast-emerging as the leader in its domain with regards to quality, quantity, and diversification within its content. These videos by the premier broadcasting network will further add to the quality of the extensive content line-up available on nexGTv and will also serve as a precursor to more global collaborations." nexGTv Chief Operating Officer Abhesh Verma said.

Sayre Therapeutics inks agreement with Spanish firm GP Pharm

Healthcare company, Sayre Therapeutics today announced that it has entered into agreement with Spanish company GP Pharm SA for launching EMA approved differentiated Leuprolide acetate depot formulation in South Asia.

"We have entered into an exclusive license agreement with GP Pharm SA to distribute, market and sell Lutrate depot in 1 and 3 month formulations in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. GP Pharm will supply Lutrate to Sayre on an exclusive basis from its manufacturing facility in Barcelona, Spain," a statement issued here said.
