Some of the memorabilia of the six time Grammy-winner that will go on display include the white beaded gown she wore at the 1994 Grammy awards, photographs, albums and her Bible, are to go on display at the Grammy Museum here, reported The Los Angeles Times online.

The event, called 'Whitney! Celebrating the Musical Legacy of Whitney Houston', is to open on August 15 and is expected to run until February next year in the Special Exhibits Gallery of the museum.

"This exhibit is a token of appreciation from our family for Whitney's fans to enjoy and embrace. We hope they are as elated as we are to have shared in such a remarkable life," said Whitney's manager, sister-in-law Pat Houston.

"We are particularly excited to showcase her long connection to the Grammy Awards show and to celebrate the musical genius that made her one of America's most-awarded pop and soul vocalists," said Robert Santelli, the Grammy Museum executive director.

The 'I Will Always Love You' hitmaker was found drowned in the bath at her suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel before a pre-Grammy Awards party on February 11.
