After the unsavoury episode over a pay dispute with their Board before the first one-dayer against India in Kochi, things have changed for the better as far as West Indies team are concerned.

The crushing win in Kochi has been like a morale booster for the Caribbeans as one could see them enjoy during a game of soccer ahead of the customary net sessions. The hearty laugh and high-fives were back and one could sense that normalcy had returned in the West Indies ranks.

"Everything is fine and the moral is very high," said ever-smiling media manager Phillip Spooner.

It has been learnt that two former West Indies captains in Clive Lloyd and Richie Richardson, who were travelling with the team, along with fast bowling great Curtly Ambrose worked overtime to keep the players in good frame of mind.

"Lloyd will be there with the team till the end of the ODI series. It is still not confirmed whether Mr Lloyd will stay back for the Test series. In case, he goes back then Courtney Walsh will be there with the team during the Test series," he said.
