Rainfall was recorded in different parts of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, including state capital Lucknow which received 7.8 mm downpour, the Meteorological Department said.
Lucknow recorded a maximum temperature of 30.7 degrees Celsius and a low of 26.2 degrees Celsius, it said.
The Met office said rain or thundershower is very likely at most places in the eastern and the western parts of the state on Wednesday. It also warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places in these regions.
On Tuesday, Gorakhpur recorded 64.5 mm rainfall, while it was 14 mm in Bahraich, 10.8 mm in Sultanpur, 10.5 mm in Allahabad, 58.2 mm in Bareilly, 56.6 mm in Jhansi, 58 mm in Basti, 26.2 mm in Hardoi, 32.2 mm in Shahjahanpur and 55 mm in Banda.
Etawah was the hottest city in the state, with a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius.
