A widow was found
murdered in a car near Cholti Kheri village here today, police said.
Jaspal Kaur (50), who was missing since yesterday, was spotted dead in her car this morning, they said.
According to police, her throat was slit with a sharp-edged weapon.
The weapon used in the crime was found in the vehicle, they said.
Jaspal's son Gurpreet in his complaint has alleged one Piara Singh of kidnapping and murdering his mother.
On the complaint made by Gurpreeet, a case was registered against Piara and effort being made to arrest him at the earliest, police said.
