A 28-year-old woman was today shot dead by her husband over some dispute in Rajasthan's Alwar district, police said.
The accused identified as 30-year-old Harkesh, killed his wife Pushpa after a quarrel at their residence in Tapukara here this morning.
Harkesh, who runs a shop and has three children fled the spot, leaving his wife in a pool of blood, they said.
A neighbour had informed police about the incident following which the body was sent to a nearby hospital for postmortem, police said, adding, efforts are on to nab the accused.
