Asserting she would not join active politics, popular actor Rituparna Sengupta today said she would always make herself available for social cause.

Rituparna, whose recently completed film 'A Political Murder' by Agnidev Chatterjee is awaiting release, said "I would be available for any social cause, for any project to help the poor, orphaned and disadvantaged always."

"But I will never be associated with a political party. I don't feel comfortable. As a creative person I would rush to any social project wherever possible but that is in my individual capacity as a citizen of this country," she told PTI when asked if the movie Political Murder would precede her plunging into the political spectrum.

The Tollywood actress said she was also waiting for audience feedback to her upcoming movie Mukti where she plays a teacher.

Rituparna, who was talking on the launch of the first 'Green Trends Salon' by global brand CavinKare, said "everybody wants to look well-groomed and fit these days as people have become more self-conscious. But one should always go by eco-friendly health-care and beauty products by well-established brands.
