"We will meet the Chief Election Commissioner and apprise him of the rigging in the last Assembly elections and request him to conduct the bye-election under the supervision of para-military forces," said Roy, whose party has fielded a candidate there.

The by-election has been necessitated following the resignation of RLD chief Ajit Singh's son Jayant Chaudhary, who had won this seat in the recent Assembly election.
