: Former Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy Monday said he would be pleased if the abolition of Article 370 of the Constitution brought peace to Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking to reporters at Chikkere village in Ramanagar near here, the JDS leader said he has taken note of the fact that there are large number of people supporting scrapping of Article 370.
"It will be good if the abolition of Article 370 and 35A brings peace in Jammu and Kashmir," said Kumaraswamy.
He also underscored the need for precautions to ensure peace in the state without giving room for any disturbances.
