"It (budget session) will have a real discussion on the various issues that the nation is facing," he said.
Javadekar said his party believes in cooperation of all and, although Modi has stated that BJP has enough numbers to run the government, "we want cooperation of all in running the country. He (prime minister) has said that it is the team PM-CM -- with that spirit we are going to the Parliament session with confidence."
Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has convened a meeting of the leaders of all parties on Saturday to ensure the smooth conduct of the Budget Session, which is expected to conclude on August 14.
The session is significant as it will see the first budget of the Modi government. While the railway budget will be presented on July 8, the Economic Survey will be released on July 9 and is to be followed by the presentation of the General Budget on July 10.
