YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today said that his party will raise the issue of "political violence" in the upcoming session of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
"The instances of political violence are on the rise in the state off late. It seems the ruling party is patronising the violence and local police too cannot put a leash on it apparently due to political pressure," Jagan said here.
He was addressing reporters after meeting the family members of A Krishna Rao, deputy Sarpanch of Gottumukkala village, who was murdered allegedly by his political opponents.
