Former FC Barcelona consultant, Raymond Verheijen feels India will take at least a decade more to break into the world stage.

"I had been here four years ago, and I see the difference, there definitely has been growth, but for India to break out on world stage, it will definitely take 10-15 years more," he said when asked about Indian football.

"The growth of Indian Football shouldn't been an issue, it should focus more on sustainable growth," he added.

He spoke after conducting a two-day workshop on Football Periodisation here in which top 30 football coaches from across the nation and the sub-continent took part.

This is the second visit for the former FC Barcelona consultant and Dutch national team assistant as he had visited the country four years ago and had conducted a similar workshop only for I-League coaches in New Delhi.
