Corruption, inflation, poor law and order situation and hike in electricity tariffs would be the issues with which Opposition BJP would seek to corner the Congress government in Rajasthan when the state Assembly meets on Monday for its Monsoon session.

"Gehlot government has failed in delivering good governance.

"We will highlight issues of public interest and corner the government," the party whip in the Assembly, Rajendra Rathore, said today.

A meeting of the BJP legislative party, chaired by leader of Opposition Gulabchand Kataria, will be held on Monday in the Assembly building before the session gets underway to discuss the strategy to corner the government, he said.

BJP state president and former chief minister Vasundhara Raje would also be present at the meeting, he added.
