Hailing the good work being done by the UP Rural Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Saifai, in extending medical aid to people of the area, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today said efforts will be made to help the institute get an identity at the global-level.
Yadav, who laid the foundation stone of several works at the centre, said that starting as a small project in Saifai village today it is known all over the country and some 3,000 people visit the OPD daily.
"We will try that Saifai institute gets an identity of its own at the global-level," he said.
Regretting that facilities people should get in district hospitals were not available because of the laxity of officials, the chief minister said he was getting complaints in this regard and warned that action will be taken.
