Against the backdrop of the MCD sanitation workers strike, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today said his government is willing to fulfil all "their (central agencies') conditions" but the union ministers are hard to find.

He was reacting to former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit's reported remarks today that the tussle between him and central agencies was causing immense trouble to citizens and has created lot of civic problems.

"Of course we are willing ...(but) ask her whom should I be meeting? I'll meet tomorrow ... We will fulfil all their (central agencies') conditions and pre-conditions, if they have any," Kejriwal told PTI at the Jindal Nature Cure Institute here, where he was admitted on January 27 for treatment of chronic cough and other ailments.

"You ask her (Dikshit) to fix up a time. The central ministers do not meet anybody and are not to be found. Fix up an appointment, I will leave this place immediately for a meeting," he said.

Dikshit reporteldy told the media that the tussle between the Kejriwal-government and the central agencies has created a lot of civic problems in Delhi.

Asked to comment on the protesters' demand for a permanent solution to the salary problem in the civic bodies he said only way out is dissolving the MCD.

"Permanent solution lies in dissolving the MCD. If any management fails to pay salaries to its workers and employees, it should resign and hold fresh elections," he said.

Replying to a query, Kejriwal said the MCD has to find the blueprint because they are running the civic body. "From my point of view they have completely failed," he added.

Much before Kejriwal announced measuers and requested the municipal staff to call off the strike, the leaders of the workers' bodies said they were "not hopeful" that the CM will come out with any permanent solution to the salary problem.

"It is not just question of one or two months' salary. We want a permanent solution. He is talking about solution from Bengaluru but we will not believe his words unless we receive our salaries," Sanjay Gehlot of Swatantra Mazdoor Vikas Sanyukta Morcha, which is leading the sanitation workers' strike, said.
