Will and Jada Pinkett Smith's daughter Willow released a 15-track album called "Ardipithecus".

She chose the title "Ardipithecus" because she was "digging deep in the soil" of her heart while making the album, reported the Huffington Post.

"I wanted to name my musical compilation after it because,

while I was making these songs I was in such a transitional state. Digging deep in the soil of my heart and finding bits and pieces of my ancient self that tell stories, which end up being the lyrics to the songs," she said.

Willow released her debut single,"Whip My Hair," five years ago which was followed by "21st Century Girl" and "Fireball" featuring Nicki Minaj in 2011. Her reflective single "Why Don't You Cry" in collaboration with I-D came out in September.
