Wing Commander's family looted on Yamuna Expressway

Family of an Air Force officer was allegedly looted by some armed men on Yamuna Expressway when they were on their way to Agra from Delhi, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when Air Force Wing Commander Praveen Upadhyay was travelling to Agra in his car with his family and friends through Yamuna Expressway.

As Upadhyay stopped the car on the expressway at Naujheel area, three youths came on a motorbike and allegedly looted some cash, jewellery and other valuables from women seating in the car at gun point.

Meanwhile, Upper Police Superintendent (Rural) Shagun Gautam told that a case has been lodged and a search is on for all the absconding accused.
