Winter gets closer in Delhi, min temp drops to 11 deg C

Winter seems to be knocking on the doors in the national capital, as the minimum temperature today dipped to 11 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, and lowest reading of the mercury this season so far.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 27.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average while the humidity in air oscillated 34 per cent and 81 per cent.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 28.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average while the minimum temperature had settled at 14.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the normal.

The MeT Department has predicted clear skies for tomorrow.
 

"The skies will be mainly clear. There will be mist and shallow fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to settle at 28 degrees Celsius and 11 degrees Celsius respectively," the weatherman said.
