The 35-day winter racing season for 2014-15 at Royal Calcutta Turf Cluba (RCTC) will commence on November one and conclude on March 31.
A total of 247 races are scheduled to be run in the season and will include 49 cup races, according to RCTC.
Total stake money being offered this season is Rs 15,36,60,000 (include cup value 22,25,000), RCTC said.
A total of 633 horses and 197 two year olds will be trained by 21 trainers.
Twenty seven Jockeys and nine apprentice Jockeys have been licensed to rid during season. The seasons's plum, the Calcutta Derby is scheduled to be run on January 1, RCTC added.
