Winter session of Bihar Legislature from Nov 25

The winter session of two Houses of Bihar Legislature would be held between November 25 and December 2.

This was decided at the meeting of the state cabinet presided over by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar here, Principal Secretary Cabinet Coordination Brajesh Mehrotra said.

The cabinet gave its nod to Patna Master Plan 2031 for systematic development of the capital city.

The meeting also approved Rs 48.54 crore for preparation of 350th Prakash Parva of Sikh guru Govind Singh. An amount of Rs 45.22 crore would be spent for setting up tent city at three places in Patna to host devotees arriving on the occasion from within the country and abroad, Mehrotra said.
 

The remaining part of the fund would be spent on levelling of land for these tent cities and also compensate loss of crops to farmers on their land which would be taken for the purpose, he added.
