The winter session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature will commence on December 14.
"The Uttar Pradesh Governor on the recommendation of the Cabinet has given his consent for convening both the Houses of UP Legislature for the next session beginning December 14," an official statement issued by the UP Raj Bhavan said today.
The government is likely to table the supplementary budget and introduce bills to repeal ordinances promulgated during the inter-session period like the law providing for death penalty to those trading in illicit liquor, official sources said.

They also said that the government might introduce an anti-terror bill on the lines of the one existing in Maharashtra, they added.
The Business Advisory Committees of the two Houses will decide as to how many sittings will be held during the session.
