Railways has decided to run special trains for Goa, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram from here this winter to clear the additional rush of passengers during the peak festive time of Christmas and new year.
While there will be a special train for Goa on every Saturday from December 21 till January 1, 2014, for Trivandrum the winter special will begin from December 18 till December 29 on every Tuesday and Wednesday.
There will be three special trains for Mumbai beginning from December 18 till January 1 next year. Trains will be operational on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.
