Calling him a wonderful man and a great inspiration, celebrities like Salman Khan, Hema Malini and Karan Johar wished health and happiness to Shah Rukh Khan on his milestone 50th birthday.
Many celebrities shared interesting anecdotes about working with Shah Rukh, while others took to social media to talk about how the actor inspired them to give their best in life.
Salman, who has worked with SRK in films like "Karan Arjun" and "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", said, "I wish him the best in life, I wish him good health, family and success and most amazing life. I would want whole family to be healthy."

"We were shooting for 'Dil Aashna Hai', it was the first day with Divya Bharti. Unfortunately, I had to go home because my kids were not doing homework and I had to be there. Shah Rukh said, 'it's ok mam, you go home, I'll take this shot.' And he did! We both were actors who had turned directors," Hema told PTI.
The actress wished him "peace, healthy life" and said she wants his son Aryan to become an actor soon.
Filmmaker Karan Johar wished the actor and credited him for turning him into a director with "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai".
"A big reason for my beginning as a filmmaker. I will always be grateful... Happy 50 Bhai!!! Your golden era is legendary... Big love @iamsrk," Johar posted.
SRK's "Devdas" co-star Jackie Shroff said the actor is an example for newcomers how to work hard and make it big.
"He is a person with a golden heart. I wish him good health, happiness and lots of sucess. I think all newcomers must learn from him. I often tell my son Tiger to see... Learn how he has grown professionally," he said.
"It is commendable where he has reached today. It was great working with him in 'King Uncle', 'Happy New year'," Shroff said.
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who was Shah Rukh's co-star in his debut film "Deewana", recounted his initial meetings with the actor.
"He was always a very spirited boy. Always a 'josh'ed up actor. As a youngster, as a beginner in his first film, he was very respectful, very good to speak to, always full of energy," Rishi said.
When asked what would he like to gift Shah Rukh, actor Varun Dhawan, who is sharing screen space with him in the forthcoming film "Dilwale", said, "On the sets of 'Dilwale', we used to play games. We played play station 4... I would give him play station 5."
Leading the wishes on social media was the superstar's wife Gauri Khan, who posted a picture of SRK cutting his birthday cake.
