A woman and two minor girls from the same family allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a canal at Karaivaikkal, police said
The deceased included a 40-year-old woman and two girls, aged 15 and 10, they said.
Police suspect that they might have jumped into the canal some distance away from where the bodies were recovered
The bodies were yet to be identified as none had so far come forward to claim them, police said.
