A 22-year-old woman has alleged that she was gang-raped by two men in Nallasopara area in Palghar district, police said today.
The complainant claimed that she was raped in February by one C P Singh under the pretext of providing a job, along with his friend Sharma.
The duo were booked under various sections of IPC for rape, said inspector Prakash Birajdar, Tulinj police station.
He said nobody was arrested so far.
When asked about the delay in filing the complaint, the police officer said the woman was scared as the duo had threatened her of dire consequences.
