Three persons, including a woman, were killed and as many injured when a glass-laden truck overturned while negotiating a crater on Agra-Mumbai road in Shivpuri district, police said.
The incident took place in front of Digaoudh police post when the truck driver lost control over the vehicle in his attempt to avoid a pothole on the road, police said, adding that the three others were also injured in the mishap.
The deceased were identified as Manish Awasthi (25), Ghanshyam Dangi (65) and Guddi Singh (45).

"The victims were standing on the roadside near their motorcycle, when suddenly a glass-laden truck overturned and fell on them as the driver of the carrier lost control over it while negotiating a crater on the national highway," Badarwas Police Station in-charge P P Mudgal said.
Three persons, including two cleaners of the truck were also injured in the mishap, and were referred to a hospital.
"The injured were waiting for a bus on the roadside at the time of the incident," he said.
A case has been registered against the truck driver.
