Two persons, including a woman, have been arrested from southeast Delhi's Garhi village for allegedly running a sex racket, police said today.

The accused, identified as Gaurav Anand and Nina Soni alias Sonu Bangalan, were arrested yesterday and have been declared proclaimed offenders, they said.

Both the accused had been declared offenders in a gang- rape case registered at Shahdara police station in 2014, they added.

"They are pimps and used to provide call girls to their clients in Delhi and the neighbouring areas. In order to evade their arrest, they used to frequently change their hideouts in two-three months," said a senior police officer.

Anand revealed that he used to work as a driver at a call centre. But he was removed from the job after he demanded a salary hike.

He also had an altercation with his wife and he left his home before he came in contact with Bangalan and started living with her, the officer said.

She was running a call girl racket and Anand joined her, he added.
